Sausage and crumbs coating a cooked egg

                     Scotch eggs

Begin with medium hard eggs: place 6 eggs in boiling water, return to simmer and cook for about 8 minutes.  Drain and peel.

Pat bulk breakfast sausage around each egg to encase  it.  Roll in flour, dip in beaten egg,  and coat with panko breadcrumbs.

Shallow fry in vegatable oil, turning until crispy all over.
