well, dark-very, very dark-is the best description. I'm watching 9/11 documentaries, and the tears are flowing down my face. Do you still hurt, are you still afraid? No? Too busy with the daily grind to give it much thought, or...? Well, for me today is dark and stormy, with terrible winds howling through the trees and the rain slashing at my face, lightning lighting up the circling shadows and then the horrid anticipation of that drum-bursting snap of thunder...
well, you get the picture.
And they're still out there, they're still coming for us even more fervently than then.
So enjoy your daily grind, the peaceful quiet of the bubble you're in. And pray for the rest of us, because we live in a most dangerous reality.
